Contract to Hire
About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to help shape the next generation of digital experiences for an emerging, high-impact product in the tech space. You’ll join a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and product leaders developing a leading-edge platform designed to redefine how users interact with complex systems—bringing simplicity, clarity, and trust to the experience.
This is not a maintenance role. We’re building something new—from conceptual wireframes to production-ready interfaces. You’ll play a pivotal part in translating visionary ideas into intuitive, beautiful, and scalable product experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design for new product features—from discovery and ideation to high-fidelity UI and developer handoff.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic analysis to inform product decisions.
- Design responsive, accessible interfaces across web and mobile platforms.
- Create design systems, component libraries, and visual style guides to maintain product consistency.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Analysts to define user journeys, flows, and information architecture.
- Translate complex data or workflows into clear, engaging, and usable experiences.
- Advocate for the user’s perspective in every discussion—balancing innovation with usability.
- Stay on top of design trends, interaction patterns, and emerging tools within the UX/UI and AI-driven tech landscape.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of professional UX/UI design experience (with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity).
- Proven ability to take a product from concept through launch with measurable impact.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or XD.
- Strong command of interaction design, visual design, and information architecture principles.
- Experience with user research methods, A/B testing, and rapid prototyping.
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG standards), and design systems.
- Ability to communicate complex design ideas clearly to non-design stakeholders.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Tailwind, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience designing for AI-driven platforms, data dashboards, or B2B SaaS products.
- Motion design, animation, or microinteraction skills.
- Background in psychology, cognitive science, or HCI (Human-Computer Interaction).
- Ability to mentor junior designers and lead cross-functional design critiques.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation and equity participation.
- The opportunity to help define a category-creating product at the forefront of technology.
- Collaborative, design-forward culture that values experimentation and craft.
- Flexible remote work environment and modern design tools.
