  • Provide verbal and written updates on job progress to internal teams.
  • Design and build custom setups and holding fixtures for both in-shop and portable machining.
  • Carry out field machining work as needed to support ongoing maintenance or repair operations.
  • Conduct diagnostic checks on rebuilt systems to verify performance and accuracy.
  • Support safe rigging and material movement with cranes and lift trucks.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and hazardous material handling standards.
  • Keep up with required certifications and maintain personal tooling.

What You Bring:

  • Deep knowledge of machining techniques and machine shop operations.
  • Experience working with engineering drawings, sketches, and worn/broken parts for reverse engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and think critically to resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Confidence in operating and maintaining a wide variety of machine shop tools and equipment.
  • A mindset focused on accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and carry loads ranging from 10–40 lbs on a routine basis.
  • Work involves physical motion including bending, kneeling, climbing, twisting, and lifting.
  • Comfortable working in areas with metal shavings, solvents, noise, and moving machinery.
